Inspection Laboratory works according to LVS EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard and regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia in the mandatory scope.

Technical inspections

Inspection Institution works according to LVS EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard and regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia in the mandatory scope, performing technical inspections of dangerous equipment.

Conformity assessment

Conformity Assessment Laboratory as the Notified Body No. 1917 of the European Commission works according to LVS EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard, regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia and EU directives.

Calibration

Calibration Laboratory works according to LVS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard. Calibration is a set of actions resulting in determination of accuracy of a measuring instrument, and calculation of the expanded uncertainty of measuring results.

Testing

Testing Laboratory works according to LVS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard. Testing is a technical action for determination of the required specification of the product in accordance with a respective procedure.

Product certification

Laboratory structural unit – Certification Bureau is accredited in accordance with LVS EN ISO/IEC 17065 standard, performs type approval of measuring instruments in accordance with the EU Directives and Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia.

Electrical measurements

Laboratory carries out measurements of electrical parameters of equipment and lightning protection systems in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia.
